Training hard isn’t always the same as training right. For years I put in the effort but saw little transfer onto the pitch because my training lacked structure and purpose. Once I shifted my focus to performance — prioritising lower-body strength, explosive power, and injury prevention — everything started to change. When your gym work is aligned with the demands of your sport, the results finally show where it matters most: on the pitch.
