Does Facility Booking cost extra?
No. It's part of your existing ClubSpot subscription. There's nothing extra to pay and no upgrade required — it's live in your dashboard today.
Can we split a pitch so two teams can train at the same time?
Yes. Any facility can be divided into named sections, Top Half and Bottom Half, for example. Each section is bookable independently, so two teams can hold simultaneous bookings on the same pitch without the system flagging a conflict.
What happens when a pitch has to close due to weather?
An admin marks the facility as closed in the app and adds a reason. ClubSpot automatically notifies every manager with an affected booking, telling them exactly why it's unavailable. No individual messages, no group chat, one action covers everyone.
Who can make bookings: just admins, or can managers book directly?
Both. Admins have full control over all facilities. Coaches and group managers can view availability and make bookings for their own sessions, within whatever limits your committee has set. The system handles the permissions so you don't have to police it manually.
Can we set different rules for different facilities?
Yes. Booking limits and availability windows can be configured per facility. If you want the main pitch available to book two weeks out but the gym six weeks out, you can set that independently for each one.
