Tipperary Clubs Draw 2025 – 2026 A Huge Success

The all new Tipperary Clubs draw for 2025 – 2026 got underway last Friday evening when the first draw of the new scheme took place in the Templemore Arms Hotel.
The draw which is now in its 38 year has undergone a major revamp and is now fully online, making it easier to join and administer with every club coordinator now having access to their own unique club portal that gives them detailed information on their members and funds raised.
With a new system and new ideas also comes concern and unease that the new way may not be the best way, however in this case the new system and method of joining the draw has proved to be an overwhelming success.
Speaking at the August draw, Tipperary Clubs Draw manager Jonathan Cullen said that while the old system had served the draw well, it was now outdated and not fit for purpose. He said that he wanted a system that was fully transparent and user friendly for the person joining the draw and the club coordinators who in the past may have found themselves depending on information from the GAA office. Now at the click of a mouse they can see how many members they have in each monthly draw, make changes to their members, change promoters and much much more. For the person joining the draw the process could not be easier and now from the comfort of their own home, supporters can join the draw in the space of 90 seconds.
Jonathan also stated that it was very important to him and the draw committee that everyone was catered for with the new system and with that in mind provision was also made for anyone who may not have access to a computer or smart device or may simply wish to pay with cash or a cheque. Those people can now simply pay their nominated club who will then enter them on line.
Jonathan said that there seemed to be a fear out there that the new system would result in a big fall off in numbers, however he was always confident that this would not be the case. In the end the results speak for themselves as the draw has grown in numbers by almost 500 members which is a huge stamp of approval for the draw and the new system. It is also a big reflection on the work that was put in by each and every club coordinator and promoter over the last number of weeks.
