I’ve been kicking a ball since I could take my first steps & just like you, I love nothing more than getting out on the pitch & performing to the best of my ability for my local club, St. Lomans, Mullingar in Co. Westmeath. Over the last 10 years, I have helped thousands of athletes improve their strength, fitness, performance and rehabilitation across a wide range of sports including working with some of the best GAA players in the country such as Conor McManus & James O’Donoghue.

About the Author

I am Shane Flynn, owner of NGS gym and rehabilitation clinic in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

I qualified ten years ago as a Strength and Conditioning coach where I have coached a variety of clients and athletes in my gym and online to coaching Olympic athletes and producing a World Powerlifting Champion and holder of 3 world records. Another aspect of my work is with GAA players on my Online Academy, where we focus on nutrition, performance, and rehabilitate injuries to ensure each player is reaching their full potential.

I am also a Certified Physical Preparation Specialist, a Movement Specialist and most recently I qualified as Neuromuscular Therapist. My passion for this stemmed from watching my father battle Multi System Atrophy (MSA,) a rare neurodegenerative disorder which he battled with for over ten years before he passed.
