Events Manager - Remote/ Hybrid

Salary: €40,000 - (€46,000 OTE)

Join a new and exciting fundraising and events company. ClubSpot Events are pioneers in their space and have launched Ireland's most exciting fundraising event for Sports Clubs and Charities. We are seeking an energetic events manager to join our team and help us achieve our aim of raising €10m per year for non-profit organisations. This role will involve evening and weekend working times.
Collaborate with customers to understand their fundraising goals and objectives.
Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines and logistics.
Liaise with AV provider and videographer when new event is booked.
Create and develop event promotion and marketing strategies.
Oversee all aspects of event execution, including venue setup and event flow.
Manage event staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth operations.
Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events.
Oversee sound, lighting and content projection on screen, when required.
Oversee counting and packing of props and equipment after event.
Provide guidance and support to customers and participants in their fundraising efforts, including preparation of graphics, digital media and offline media e.g., tickets, booklet etc.
Conduct weekly check-ins with customers, to ensure maximum support is provided.
Assist in developing fundraising strategies tailored to each club's needs.
Identify and explore new fundraising opportunities.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Monitor expenses and revenue, ensure props/ equipment are ordered when needed.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance and gather feedback.
Use feedback to make improvements and recommendations for future events.
Measure and report on the success of fundraising efforts.
Marketing and promotion of the ClubSpot Events.
Work closely with other events manager and internal teams, such as marketing and sales, to align event strategies with overall business goals.
Foster strong relationships with sports clubs and external partners.
Bi-weekly reporting to CEO.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure events comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Implement safety measures and protocols to protect participants and attendees.
Proven event management or PR experience, ideally 2+ years in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Event Management, or a related field.
Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects effectively, would be beneficial.

Ability to work remotely and travel to events as needed.
Full clean driver's licence.
Financial acumen for budget management.
Laptop and phone provided.
